Autumn is amazing time to discover the heart of Canada’s Atlantic seacoast, Nova Scotia. Come join Susan & Cliff on an unforgettable, uniquely Canadian Adventure.
We will be exploring historic and mystical Cape Breton Island where we will be traveling and shooting along the famous Cabot Trail, one of the most scenic drives in the world. We will be photographing quaint fishing villages, meeting and creating portraits of the local fisherman as well as navigating the seas on local fishing boats.
We will be photographing wild bald eagles and taking our adventure further off the coast while whale watching.
Then we would head to the Cape Breton Highlands, a wild landscape that resembles the coastal regions of Scotland. The Highland’s cool damp deciduous forests are a photographer’s dream at peak fall foliage. The plateau itself consists of numerous broad, gently rolling hills bisected with deep valleys and steep-walled river canyons, sprinkled with various small fishing villages throughout. We’re expecting several encounters with the local moose throughout the area and we’ll never be far from a steaming plate of local lobster fished from the ocean each morning.
What should I expect?
This will be a truly authentic Nova Scotian experience as we road trip throughout the island of Cape Breton.
